A tradition that continues
1932
The Martinuzzi family opens a shop under their name, producing and selling lace and embroidery of various kinds such as centerpieces, tablecloths, placemats, handkerchiefs, and children's clothes.
1999
The restaurant is restored. The sign, floor, and display windows remain the same, as they are historic symbols of Venice. In the same year, glass is introduced as a table complement. Collaboration with the best Murano glass furnaces begins.
2009
A collaboration with glass artist Massimo Lunardon is born. Martinuzzi becomes the official retailer for the city.
2015
Martinuzzi promotes and hosts exhibitions dedicated to the excellence of contemporary artistic glass. Among these are INUNDO by Massimo Lunardon, an exhibition that conveys a strong message about the delicate relationship between Venice and the high water, and AVVENTURINA by Davide Fuin, an exhibition of a private collection of 40 works made with aventurine, one of the most precious and complex types of glass to work with.
